Our school’s mission values of Love, Faith, Compassion, Forgiveness, Honesty and Community guide how we live and learn together throughout the year. Each half term, we focus on one value, helping pupils to understand how it is rooted in the teachings of Jesus and brought to life through Catholic Social Teaching. Through prayer, learning and action, children explore how these values call us to respect the dignity of every person, care for one another, act with integrity, forgive as we are forgiven, and work together for the common good. In this way, our mission values help pupils to put faith into action, shaping hearts, minds and choices both in school and beyond.
Love → Dignity of the Human Person
We believe every person is made in the image of God and deserves love, respect and care.
Faith → Participation
Faith invites us to take an active part in the life of the Church and the wider community, living out our beliefs through prayer and action.
Compassion → Solidarity
We stand alongside others, especially those who are vulnerable, responding with empathy, kindness and action.
Forgiveness → Rights and Responsibilities
We recognise our responsibility to restore relationships, show mercy and seek reconciliation, as Christ teaches us.
Honesty → Subsidiarity
Acting truthfully builds trust and responsibility, enabling individuals and communities to make good choices and take ownership of their actions.
Community → The Common Good
We work together so that everyone can flourish, placing the needs of the community alongside individual needs.
